The 'Colli Euganei' three-bottle case from the Zanovello winery offers white wines and a rosé: Olivetani Bianco, Roverello Bianco and a Rosato Merlot-Cabernet.
Olivetani Bianco is a blend of Garganega, Pinot Bianco, Sauvignon, Tai Bianco and Moscato grapes, grown on volcanic and clayey soils between 200 and 400 metres above sea level. After manual harvesting, spontaneous fermentation in wood and cement and two years of stabilisation, it has a straw yellow colour with golden reflections. Aromas of cedar, citrus and exotic fruit, dry, mineral and persistent on the palate. Perfect with meat and fish dishes, cold cuts, risottos and tortellini.
Roverello Bianco combines Chardonnay, Manzoni Bianco and Moscato, grown on poor rhyolitic rock soils at 250 metres. It ferments with indigenous yeasts in wood and cement and ages for two years in large barrels. It offers warm, fruity aromas with minerality, elegant and long-lasting, ideal with freshwater fish, mushroom risottos, egg pasta and dishes with truffles or artichokes.
The Rosato Merlot-Cabernet comes from vineyards on red flake and clay soils. It ferments spontaneously in wood and cement with two years of ageing. With a fruity and slightly herbaceous aromatic profile, balanced between acidity and sapidity, it accompanies meat tartare, spaghetti with butter and anchovies and savoury or spicy dishes.
