The three-bottle case of "Rossi trentini" wines from Cantina Pisoni represents the red soul of the region through three authentic interpretations: Rebo, Pinot Nero and Gobbo Rosso.
Rebo was created in the 1950s by researcher Rebo Rigotti, from a cross between Teroldego and Merlot. Grown on the Cesura estate on silty-sandy soils, it fermented in stainless steel and ages for 24 months in barriques. It is distinguished by aromas of wild berries and spicy notes, with a velvety taste and sweet tannins, ideal with red meat and lamb.
Pinot Nero, grown on the San Siro estate, is aged for 24 months in oak barriques. Intense garnet in colour, it expresses aromas of ripe cherry and wild berries, with hints of vanilla and a dry, enveloping taste. Perfect with forest dishes, white meats or game birds.
Gobbo Rosso, made from Teroldego grapes, is a wine with no added sulphites from Maso Gobbo. It ferments for 30 days in stainless steel and ages for 6 months, offering aromas of strawberry, black cherry and wild berries. Fresh, smooth and fruity, it is the ideal accompaniment to artisan cured meats and Trentino cheeses.
