The "Porta del Vento" three-bottle case includes Sicilian wines from the winery of the same name, expressing the vineyards of Camporeale.
Luna Calante, a macerated white Catarratto, grown on vineyards at 600 metres above sea level, cultivated using organic and biodynamic methods. Hand-picked and spontaneously fermented on the skins for 30 days, followed by 6 months of ageing in cement and 4 months in the bottle. Bright golden yellow, with aromas of quince, carob and candied fruit; warm, elegant and enveloping on the palate. Ideal with fish couscous, seared tuna, blue cheeses and roast lamb.
Maqué Rosso is a blend of Nero d'Avola (60%) and Perricone (40%) from vineyards at 550 metres above sea level. Hand-picked, spontaneous fermentation and 10 days' maceration on the skins, followed by 12 months in concrete tanks and 6 months in the bottle. Intense red with violet reflections, aromas of red fruit, violet petals and spicy notes; full and structured on the palate. Perfect with pasta dishes with meat sauces, roasts and mature cheeses.
Ishac Pure Nero d'Avola, from vineyards at 450 metres above sea level. Spontaneous fermentation with 10-12 days' maceration, 12 months in large oak barrels and 6 months in the bottle. Intense ruby red colour, aromas of cherry, violet petals and small red fruits; structured on the palate, with soft tannins and a long finish. Pairs well with cold cuts, cheeses, white and red meats and stews.
